The failure that resulted in the replacement of this compressor, most likely was a result of some system problems.
CHECK CAREFULLY FOR THE CAUSE
Look for excessive discharge pressures or temperatures, oil low suction pressure, slugging, flooding, proper operation of contactors, proper operation of oil safety controls and leaks in refrigerant or oil.
FAILURE TO FIND AND CORRECT SUCH A SYSTEM PROBLEM WILL RESULT IN A SECOND FAILURE.
